Description
Mentha suaveolens ‘Variegata’ A subspecies of Apple mint. Very attractive plant with leaves that are variegated green and white. Has a trailing habit that does well in hanging baskets and containers. Sometimes green leaves will sprout up instead of the variegation, just trim them away. It has a sweeter, fruitier flavor than other mints. As other mints, it loves to roam and invade other parts of the garden, so it’s best grown in containers.
