Description
Helichrysum angustifolium formerly known as Helichrysum italicum. A type of herb that is grown both for its ornamental beauty, its aroma, bright flowers, and its spicy flavor when used in foods. Young leaves can be used sparingly to flavor food. The plant produces an oil from its blossoms which is used for medicinal purposes. It is anti-inflammatory, fungicidal, and astringent. It is not to be confused with curry seasoning (which is a blend of spices) or curry leaves that grow on a Curry Tree (Murraya koenigii).
