Description
Nepeta x faassenii ‘Walker’s Low’
Perennial in zones 4-9. Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Thrives in dry soils and is very tolerant of drought. Beautiful periwinkle blue flower spikes dress the fragrant, compact mounds of finely textured, gray-green foliage. Grows 24-30″ tall, 24-36″ wide. ‘Walker’s Low’ is long blooming with lavender-blue flowers, heat tolerant, resistant to pests and diseases, and easy to grow. Nepeta ‘Walker’s Low’ was named the 2007
Perennial Plant of the Year by the Perennial Plant Association. Now if that’s not an endorsement for getting this plant, I don’t know what is!
